All coaches within the Academy Sports Programs are highly qualified, with the majority of coaches holding NCAS Level 2 or above accreditation.
Through the recently launched coach education program, which is currently being developed, the Academy will provide training and upgrade both our Assistant and Trainee coaches to a higher NCAS standard.
The Australian Sports Commission has recently launced the Beginning Coaching General Principles course online through their website www.ausport.gov.au.
This course is open to all Australian residents and is provided through the Australian Sports Commission.
Any coach wishing to participate in the SWSAS Coach Education Program will be required to have attained a successful completion of the General Principles / Orientation to Coaching course.
