Golf is one of two new sports that the Academy introduced in 2006.
The Camden Valley Golf Resort / SWSAS Golf program is run in conjunction with the NSW Golf Association and the Jack Newton Junior Golf Association. Camden Valley Golf Resort has agreed to partner with SWSAS as the Proud Sponsors of the 'Camden Valley Golf Resort Golf Squad'.
This partnership will see our athletes have access to a state-of-the-art 27 hole golf course and expert coaching above their local club commitments, with a value-added educational program.
The immediate success of this program was evident, will all the Academy athletes invited and attending the 2006 Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation Invitational at Kurri Kurri - with some outstanding success.
The Golf Program operates from November to October each yeah - a solid 11-month program of on-course and classroom education.
