The Academy Softball Program is made up of aged 15, 16 and 17 year old boys and girls. Around 30 athletes train with the SWSAS Academy squad. Our program runs from November to July with an open trial process taking place in August / September. The objective of the program is to train our athletes to the standard for NSW Under 16 selection.
The squad trains weekly working on fitness and skills. Our squads are very professional and always demonstrate great attitude to the games they are able to play. Traditionally the program starts with a camp where the education sessions mix in nicely with training.
