The South West Sydney Academy of
Sport invites you to get amongst it at our first 3x3 Corporate Cup, for business, community and sporting
organisations, school staff teams, Councils, media teams, community service providers such as Police,
Fire Brigade and Ambulance services, as well as our Academy corporate partners and supporters.
Get your hustle on, Friday 19 April 2024, at the
Thomas Hassall Anglican College Sports Hall, Middleton Grange.
What is 3x3?
3x3 Basketball is an enjoyable brand of basketball with a great atmosphere of music and entertainment
throughout the games. Games are played by teams of 4 (with three players on court at one time), on a traditional
half-court.
Games are ten minutes in length, or the first team
to score 21.
This format allows teams to play in a multiple number
of games in a short period of time.
3x3 provides the perfect
format for Corporate partners to experience the exhilaration of 3x3 Basketball, as well as provide a great
business networking opportunity.
The Agenda.
The morning will start at 7:30am
over breakfast, followed by on-court action from 8:00am on the indoor half-courts.
A guest speaker presentation on Building High Performing Teams will take place throughout the morning,
followed by the 3x3 Corporate Cup Final tip-off.
The event concluding
at 12:00pm. (In time to have you back in the office after lunch)
Team Entry: $180 per team of up to 4 participants

Proposed
Divisions
There are currently three Mixed Gender Divisions on offer.
- Division 1 - Elite Mixed
- Division 2 - Social Mixed
- Division 3 - Social Mixed
Proposed Format
- Each Division will have up to 8 x teams, competing in two pools of four.
- Each team
will play a minimum of three games.
- Top Two teams in each pool will play a Semi Final with the
winner progressing to a Division Final.
Subject to numbers, waitlist and any additional court space (including access to outdoor courts), the
Academy may alter Division Compositions and Pools.
