The South West Sydney Academy of Sport continues to meet the needs of talent identified athletes and coaching staff within the local Government areas of Campbelltown, Camden, Liverpool and Wollondilly area, and has done so, since 1997.
The South West Sydney Academy of Sport is one of eleven Regional Academies in NSW, all of which have the same principal roles. The Regional Academies of Sport (RASi) is the collective group made up of nine of the Academies, who meet regularly, and work closely with the NSW Government, NSW Office of Sport and their local partners to ensure consistency and best-business practice across the Academy's Junior Talented High Performance Pathway sport programs.
Facilitate the development and support of talented junior Athletes in the region.
Provide Athletes with access to specialist sports, skill, and education services.
Identify and support the development of high performance Coaches at the local level.
Provide a clear pathway for Athletes and Coaches from junior development through to State and National representation.
The land on which the South West Sydney Academy of Sport is located, and where our athletes train and compete is the traditional land of the Dharawal people.
The South West Sydney Academy of Sport acknowledges the Traditional owners of Country and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
