South West Sydney Academy of Sport launches new brand identity as part of national academy rollout

 

The South West Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS), in collaboration with the Regional Academies of Sport Ltd (RAS), is proud to reveal its new visual identity as part of a bold nationwide brand rollout across the Academy network.

Today marks the official unveiling of the refreshed SWSAS logo, a sleek and contemporary update that reflects both the Academy’s growth and its strong position within the unified RAS high-performance pathway.

The new logo features a podium-inspired graphic, three ascending lines symbolising aspiration, progress and achievement. The upward movement captures the Academy’s mission of elevating South West Sydney’s young athletes, helping them rise to new heights in sport and life.

The design also incorporates negative space, representing the unseen work, determination and resilience that drives our athletes every day.

“This update is more than a new look, it is a visual expression of our shared values and long-term vision,” said Bianca Wellings, Marketing & Communications Manager, Regional Academies of Sport Ltd.

“While we proudly introduce a modern and unified brand across the network, we have maintained the original SWSAS colours as a tribute to our history, community and identity. This new era celebrates who we are locally, while strengthening our presence nationally.”

SWSAS will begin rolling out the new branding across digital platforms and merchandise, with athletes and stakeholders seeing the refreshed identity take shape across the coming weeks.

The logo update forms part of a broader rebrand across the Regional Academies of Sport, a commitment to innovation, unity and excellence as we continue to develop the next generation of elite athletes across Australia.
