Graduation and Sport Awards Night FAQ's

Who normally attends this event?

We are delighted to host near 600 persons at this annual event, including of course our Athletes, Coach and Support Staff.

Our VIP guests include our Board of Directors, Local Councillors from Camden, Campbelltown, Liverpool and Wollondilly Councils, our Local, State and Federal Members of Parliament, our valued partners and supporters, including ClubsNSW, Campbelltown Catholic Club, Wests Group Macarthur, and the NSW Office of Sport, and invited guests from our Corporate Partners, Sport Pathway Partners, State Sporting Organisations and Friends of the Academy.

And of course our Athlete's greatest supporters, in their parents and family members.

What Ticket options are available?

We have two ticket purchase options for this event.

General Admission - $80 is primarily for parents, friends and additional family members wishing to attend the event.

For our Partners, Sponsors, and guests who wish to sit closer to the front, our VIP option is available for $110 and includes a drinks package for the evening as well.

Do I have to get a ticket, can I just tell you I am coming?

Yes! You need to organise a ticket.

With over 250 Athletes and their families in attendance, we could easily fill more than the 600 seats available if we simply allowed you to tell us you were coming and turn up on the night.

By having this as a ticketed event also allows us to appropriately seat you and your guests in a more formal dining setting, as well as cater to any dietary needs or requirements you have.

If you do not have a ticket, you will be refused entry.

I am an Athlete, how do I get tickets?

Athlete, Coach and Support Staff receive one ticket to attend the Graduation and Awards Night as a part of their scholarship levy and will be provided a unique code which will be emailed to the Athlete, Coach or Support Staff to access the hidden ticket and "purchase" one ticket at no cost.

I cannot see the option to purchase Athlete, Coach or Support Staff Tickets

You need to enter your special code in the Enter Promo Code option.

If you do not have your promo code, then please email sport@swsas.org.au

How does the seating plan work?

Athletes are generally seated with fellow squad athletes.

Parents are generally seated with fellow parents from the same squad.

If you do have a seating preference, please let us know in advance by emailing sport@swsas.org.au

The seating plan will be published at the entrance to the venue, and there will be ushers to assist you in finding your table on the evening.

What is the Dress Code?

The Dress Code is Semi Formal.

The INTENT is that athletes dress up, and are neat and tidy.

Please note whilst cocktail / formal dresses and suit jackets are a part of the Semi Formal Dress Code, the Academy understands that not all athletes will have these items, nor wear them ordinarily. As such, please note the following updated suggestions for ATHLETES.

DO WEAR
A suit jacket / blazer (if you own one), dress shirt and trousers / chinos is recommended for males.
Whilst a tie is optional, it is preferred (if you own one)

A somewhat formal, neat and tidy dress or blouse and skirt / trousers / chinos is acceptable for females, as are those who wish to wear an evening cocktail dress.

Athletes may wear comfortable and appropriate clean and tidy footwear, including dress shoes, “Vans” etc may be worn if appropriate to the outfit.

DO NOT WEAR
Academy uniform, ie NO Tracksuit, Hoodie, Polo Shirt etc
Denim should not be worn if at all possible. Denim Jackets and Dress Denim Jeans will be permitted as long as they are not torn and are neat and tidy.
Caps should not be worn inside.

There is no need to dress in full tuxedo suits or ball gowns.

It is your chance to dress to impress, however athletes are reminded to dress appropriately remembering they may be asked to walk up on stage.

I have a dietary requirement, can you cater for this?

If you have a dietary requirement, such as Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal or Gluten Free, we can cater for you if we know.

Please ensure you place your dietary requirements on your ticket booking form, or confirm via email to sport@swsas.org.au

If you have allergies to food, such as shellfish, peanuts etc, please email us as our venue hosts also require you to complete a short form to ensure we best cater for your individual needs.
