Academy's Historic Step in Time

The South West Sydney Academy of Sport has firmly entrenched its spot into Campbelltown history, after recently making the move to the historic 'Coach House', in the heart of the city's Heritage Precinct, at the southern end of Queen Street.

After being located at the opposite end of town for sixteen years, in its affectionately known 'little fibro cottage of champions', the Academy had well and truly out-grown its humble premises.

BMX Test Rides Macarthur's New World Class Track

After what seemed like an eternity away from the dirt tracks of the BMX world, the South West Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS) BMX squad athletes returned last week, to test ride Macarthur's new World Class track in Elderslie.

The SWSAS BMX squad, like the majority of our regions sporting community, were forced into a two-month break from the track due to COVID-19 restrictions. However unlike other sporting organisation's, the Academy was able to continue to develop athletes knowledge and understanding of their sport across a number of online training opportunities.
