Ingleburn RSL Sub-Branch Club Ltd

Officially titled Ingleburn R.S.L. Sub-Branch Club Limited, the Ingleburn R.S.L. Club is a sub-branch of the Returned and Services League of Australia and is governed by the constitution of the NSW State Branch of the League. The Club and the Sub-Branch are two separate identities.

The origin of the Club dates back to the legendary "tin shed" where returned diggers from WW1 assembled for meetings and get-togethers and the occasional cleansing ale. The original club site was donated and the club house was in the form of an old army hut that was transported to the site.

Today, the Club has a membership of over 17,000 and has an annual gross turnover of approximately $14 million and employs 70 casual and permanent staff members. The Club has a Youth Club that caters for some 3000 children who participate in sports ranging from little athletics, ballroom dancing to cricket, rugby league and soccer.

The long-term goal of the Club is to continue to develop and remain not only an important part of, but a major supporter of the local community to which it belongs.

The South West Sydney Academy of Sport is proud to call the Club a Gold Medal corporate supporter of the Academy and via the ClubsNSW Clubs Grants program, the financial supporter of the Academy's 'Athlete Good Citizenship Development Program'.
